School Site Council Meetings
All meetings will begin at 3:15 and will be held in the main office or Portable 22 School Site Councils are a legal requirement. Each district school that participates in one or more federal and/or state categorical programs funded through the state's consolidated application (CONAPP) process shall establish a school site council. (Education Code 64001). The primary tasks of the School Site Council (SSC): • Develop and approve the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) • Allocate funds for Title I, LCFF, Impact Aid, etc. • Annually review the School Plan, modify plan to reflect changing needs, revise budget. • Monitor and evaluate programs • Participate in Federal Program Monitoring (FPM) process (auditing process) • Develop system for ongoing communication with school, community and district • Meet on a regular basis
